Initiated core team consisting of HR representatives within Pratt & Whitney business units to align engagement and recruitment with strategic colleges & universities. This included legacy United Technologies (now RTX) multimillion-dollar national partnership to expand NAF Academies of Engineering to Puerto Rico and beyond in 2020. Through the partnership, RTX and NAF will bring professional engineering expertise into the classroom. And, by offering a variety of work-based learning engagements such as company visits, mentoring, and paid high school internships, UTC and NAF are ensuring that these students are career ready.
Pratt & Whitney’s diverse workforce is a key driver of innovation and critical to our continued success. We are excited to offer scholarships to high-potential University of Hartford students to support the next generation of young professionals in STEM careers.
